Set in a leafy suburb, this polished guesthouse is 10 minutes' walk from Newlands railway station, 11 minutes' walk from Newlands Stadium and 16 km from Table Mountain.
The 9 plush, refined rooms offer en suite bathrooms, desks and minibars, along with tea and coffeemaking equipment, Wi-Fi and flat-screens. A suite adds a separate living room, while a garden cottage features a kitchen.
Hot or continental breakfast (fees may apply) is served in a bright dining room overlooking the enclosed garden, which has an outdoor pool and a BBQ area. Lunch and multicourse dinner can be arranged for a surcharge. There's also a gym and a relaxed bar.
