We create a unique environment for residents as well as day visiting families. Our facilities, including the “Die Afdak” Restaurant and Pub, Tea Garden, Petting Zoo, Children’s Play Area, Arts and Crafts shop and large open lawns and farming areas provide the opportunity for children of all ages to safely interact with our horses and other farm animals and participate in various outdoor activities and games. With the knowledge that their children are safely engaged and occupied, parents can enjoy a relaxing meal and drink or peacefully browse around our gardens and procure special items from our arts and crafts shop.

Situated in South Africa’s picturesque Garden Route, Ruiterbosch Lodge nestles in the Ruiterbosch Valley at the foot of the Robinsons Pass, approximately 15 to 20 minutes (25kms) drive from Hartenbos and Mossel Bay, on the R328 between Mossel Bay and Oudtshoorn.
