Set on the ocean surrounded by trees, this upscale resort includes the restored ruins of the Chuini Palace. It’s a 6-minute walk from the Old Fort of Zanzibar and the Forodhani Gardens.
Thatched roof bungalows with warm decor have wet rooms. They also have beds with mosquito nets, plus sitting areas and terraces with ocean views. Upgraded rooms add extra living spaces and/or sofabeds.
