Hotel Description
Hotel "Vojvodina" is the oldest hotel in Novi Sad, built in 1854 and located in the very center of the city. Over 150 years of history, history has always been the hub of cultural, entertainment and political life of the city.Originally called "Carice Jelisavete" by the wife of Francis Joseph, she has changed her name two times more. First in the Hotel "The Queen of Mary", by the wife of Yugoslav King Aleksandar Karadjordjevic, and today's name is given in 1945 after the Second World War.
Although the city's electric lighting was introduced in 1910, the hotel had it since 1899. Since its construction, it has not changed its original appearance, and as a hospitality and tourist facility it hosted many travelers and celebrities from public and cultural life such as Laza Kostic, Miloš Crnjanski, Lajos Zilahi, Duke Marko Miljanov and Prince Tomislav Karađorđević.

Set in an elegant building dating from 1854, this casual hotel overlooking the city's main square and cathedral is a 6-minute walk from the Synagogue de Novi Sad and 2 km from Štrand, a popular beach on the Danube river.
